Some of you may have read my post about taking cooking classes at Sur la Table in USA. Steak Au Poivre was one of the meals I learned to make that day and I continue to cook it because it’s delicious!! I usually make this when there is a holiday. Good beef is expensive to buy anywhere in the world. So it’s nice to celebrate a good time with good food. USA thanksgiving is coming up in November and the South Korean thanksgiving Chuseok (추석) is coming up in October. This is a good meal to prepare for that! Add biscuits and dessert and whatever other food your heart desires for a lovely holiday meal.
With the steak, I added baked sweet potatoes seasoned with olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary and chopped garlic. I also sautéed some brussel sprouts with onions. This plate of food was enough for me. 🙂
