Caramel almond cake

So it has been a challenge for me to find sweets that tastes like sweets from the states. Most sweets that I’ve tried so far in South Korea, taste like they are lacking sugar, butter, eggs (i.e. the main ingredient that makes cakes moist). That’s not a bad thing but it is when you want to indulge!! I could go to Costco, but I don’t see the value of paying for a monthly membership just for cake. So a distant friend of mine told me about Plant, in Itaewon South Korea. I’m glad she did! This place has good sweets. It’s just a little small shop and they serve sweets and meals. I would like to try their other foods too.
