Quick Tiramisu. That’s what the recipe was called in my Nestle cookbook. But let me tell you, making this, wasn’t quick at all. My first attempt at Tiramisu and it came out too good!! I ate 3 of them in one day. Instead of cake, I used Pillsbury sugar cookie dough. The cookies were hard when I started stacking them up. I started to think I did it wrong. It’s a good thing the dessert is not done until you refrigerate it for a few hours. The refrigerated cream made it tiramisu cake. 🙂
Coconut cookies. At least that’s what they were supposed to be. The recipe called for almond extract. I’ve never used almond extract before so I had no idea what it tasted like. The cookies came out tasting like almond extract. I couldn’t even taste the coconut! I was disappointed. I still ate the cookies though. But next time, no almond extract.
Gingersnaps! They look like store-bought right? hehe. I’ve been working on aesthetics. These came out pretty good. I think I might use butter instead of shortening next time. Just my personal preference. 🙂
The shortening seemed potent to me.
Sweet Potato Pie! My first time making it. Pretty darn good I might add. It was devoured in less than 2 days. 🙂
